How I have come to taking photographs: As a student, art was my favourite subject. On graduating year 12 and winning two art awards I wanted to pursue it as my vocation and was naturally drawn to photography. I studied at central TAFE for 3 years. During my last 2 years I worked on a casual basis for an AIPP award winning wedding photographer. In 2006 I had finished my qualifications and graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Applied Science in Photography. After my studies I decided that I wanted to do some freelance work, so I completed a small business course. Since I have been in business I have done a variety of work including weddings, portraits, day care photos, and special events such as Santa photos, graduations and charity balls. In addition I have been working for a company three mornings a week, photographing newborns in hospitals. I love photography as it captures a moment in time. My style is to take natural, candid photographs so others can relive their memories at a later date.
